Saw this film on tv the other day and started watching it , but with life being never ending and hectic you don’t normally get time to sit and watch a film so seeing it on dvd it was a must buy Soon Tom’s rambunctious roommates turn his swank New York apartment into a snowy winter wonderland — and the rest of his world upside-down. The story follows Popper as he tries to buy a restaurant called Tavern on the Green while watching the penguins and growing closer to his family in the process.
That being said: 1)it's a good learning/thinking point having to compare the two 2)it's still an entertaining movie and we'll watch it again.

Funny, unique, heart warming movie - Carrey at his best + NYC!!! We each giggled at least once, including my very serious husband.
I'm told my niece loved it to pieces, and there's enough sufficiently adult entertainment to keep grown-ups happy.
It's Jim Carey being Jim Carey and its penguins in unusual and hilarious scenes. The basic plot of the film is a business man's life begins to change when he gets six penguins. Normally I don't care for Jim Carrey's form of humor but I actually get cravings for this film when I'm feeling down in the mouth.
